4/12/07 - Eric gets new email
I've thrown in the towel. After roughly eight years at the same email address, I've finally had enough with the streams of, literally, thousands of spam messages per week, worthless filters that let spam through but "junks" important messages, and email that seems to go "down for maintenance" almost daily.
I've switched to a gmail account and I will be reachable from there from now on. I'll still monitor my old email address until the switch is complete.
My new email address is (anti-robot) hellsreach (.at.) gmail (.dot.) com.
2/8/07 - West End Games Back In Stores Soon
West End Game products are going back into distribution, with great deals for you!
After a long time of WEG products being in limited availability to retailers and consumers, West End has joined up with Impressions Advertising and Marketing, with the later handling all distributor and retailer order fulfillment. This is great news in that is means products will soon be back on the retailer shelves.
To help drum up interest in West End Games products, the D6 Core books (D6 Adventure, D6 Space, and D6 Fantasy) are getting a permanent price change. From now forward, the MSRP for these books will be dropping to just $19.99.
Additionally, to reduce our stock of some supplements, and make room for new roleplaying products, we'll start bundling free books with select products.
1/10/07 - West End Games Website Gets Facelift
West End Games is getting a long overdue redesign. The ongoing project will seek to make the site more functional and attractive.
No one is going to be quick to deny that the West End Games website has been long overdue for a serious makeover. I've intended to do it for some time, but have always had higher priorities. The site has been put off and put off, but I decided that enough was enough.
Thanks to the robust and relatively simple implementation of this PostNuke UI, I'll be able to regularly add tons of new features to that'll make this site a joy to visit.
Once again, this is an ongoing project as I learn the finer points of PostNuke. If you have any comments or suggestions, I encourage you to let me know. For the time being, the legacy website is still up and active.
