Storm Knights Demo Team

If you'd like to support West End Games by demonstrating our games to other people in stores and at conventions, send an email to the Storm Knights Coordinator, along with your name, shipping address, details on why you'd make a good addition to the team, and the WEG games you'd like to demonstrate. You'll be contacted shortly thereafter with an acceptance or rejection letter.

Submitting Fan Material

You have an idea for an adventure, setting, character template, weapon, equipment, or something else, and you'd like WEG to make it semi-official? How about some art to add to the pages? Send a few sentences describing your idea to the address above, who'll consider it and let you know whether to pursue it. In exchange for all rights to the work, you'll get your name on our Web site. Please note that at the time, we're only accepting D6 System fan material.

Be sure to download the submission guidelines and (if you're writing) the style guide before submitting anything, so that you can get an idea of what we seek. Both are available through links below. (We often pick future writers and artists from fans who submit work, so if you're professional about your volunteering, you might just get asked back for a paying job!)

D6 System Licensing

Purgatory Publishing now offers fans the opportunity to design and sell their own roleplaying game worlds, adventures, and more using any version of the D6 System, including D6 Classic and D6 Legend.

The cost for the license is 0.75 percent of cover price, with a minimum fee of $500 per year. The license allows the use of any D6 System material, including creation of new rules options. Licensees also get a spot on the West End Games Web site and discounts on West End Games products. The license, however, does not allow the use of any worlds previously published with those game systems.

The first official licensee is Scott Palter, the original founder of West End Games. Palter has created a new company, Final Sword Productions, to produce D6 Classic space opera products. For more information on Final Sword Productions, including planned releases, visit the Web site.

Those interested in obtaining a West End Games House System license or learning more about it should contact us at the address above.

Writer & Artist Submissions

West End Games seeks D6 System writers, black-and-white/grayscale interior artists, and color cover artists. Artists must have a realistic style (no cartoons, heavy anime, nudity, or excessive violence) and be able to submit 300 dpi TIFF files electronically. Writers must be familiar with some version of the D6 System (we are not seeking freelance writers for Torg until a later date). All freelancers for WEG must be able to follow guidelines, take critiquing, and produce work in a timely manner. We purchase all rights to all works. Within the text-only body of an email, send your letter of interest (including WEG games you've played), resume, bibliography, three related references, and link to your Web-based portfolio (if applicable). Send your letter to the address above. Do not send attachments; we will delete your email. We are not seeking submissions for new products or lines.
